Training Package

Values-Based Teaching

A teaching approach that integrates human and educational values into daily teaching, so that knowledge and behavior are built together — instead of presenting values as a separate activity apart from the lesson.

Teachers of all subjects Hands-on training Package in development

1 About the Strategy and Its Educational Importance

Values are often presented in schools as a separate class or an occasional activity, remaining theoretical knowledge that never translates into real behavior. Values-based teaching addresses this gap by weaving human and educational values into the fabric of the lesson itself: in how a problem is framed, in how mistakes are handled, and in the behavior a teacher models in front of their students.

The importance of this approach is that it makes a value something lived, not merely memorized. A student who practices honesty while solving a math problem, or respect for differing opinions during a literature discussion, absorbs the value in its natural context — which anchors it in their everyday behavior, in and out of school, in line with the team's vision of a civilized, thriving society guided by human values.

2 Package Objectives Draft content

The objectives below are an initial draft, to be refined into precise, actionable goals once the package's final content is approved.

  • Enable teachers to integrate values into subject content naturally, without forcing it.
  • Reinforce respect, honesty, responsibility, and cooperation in everyday classroom situations.
  • Build a classroom environment grounded in the teacher's own values modeling.
  • Connect values to a student's practical behavior in and out of school.

3 Target Audience Draft content

Teachers of all subjects and grade levels, and school leadership teams interested in embedding values-based education within the daily learning process. Any further refinement of the target audience will be defined once the package's final content is set.
